About

Welcome to Mr Lupton History.

Here you will find all the work and resources you need to carry on with your History lessons.

During this time of difficulty my thoughts are with you and your families. If you are a student, I hope this helps you to carry on with your studies as seamlessly as possible. If you are a parent, I hope the tools on this website can support your child’s learning during their period of home-learning.

FAQs

I am a student. How do I know what work I should be completing?

If you are a student at the school I teach at, you will have details of your work sent to you on Show My Homework. This will outline what you are expected to do and when it is expected to be done. You will also need to upload any completed worksheets to Show My Homework.

If you need further details about a piece of work that I have set, or have any other questions, please message me via Show My Homework.

I can’t download files on Show My Homework or on your website.

This may be because you do not have access to Word or PowerPoint on your computer. The reason why I created this website was so that you don’t necessarily need Word or PowerPoint to carry on with your studies.

If you cannot download the worksheet, the tasks will always be outlined on the lesson pages that you are doing so that you can still complete the work. Some lessons will have video slides that I have put together. You can find these on YouTube via the lesson pages.

If you couldn’t complete the worksheet set and have instead completed your work on a piece of paper, you still need to upload this to Show My Homework. I would advise taking a picture and uploading it to the correct assingment.

I don’t understand what I am doing. How can you help?

If you attend the school I work at, it’s really important that I understand that you are struggling with work as soon as possible. Please message me via Show My Homework so that I can help you with the work you are struggling with. This will also help me re-evaluate my teaching in order to improve your understanding and learning as we go on.

I am a parent. How can I support my child’s learning using your site?

As a parent, your role in your child’s education has never been greater than what it is today. I hope this website can assist you in making that as easy as possible. The lessons are structured chronologically and clearly under each year group. Please encourage your child to go through these as the home assignments are set. Students may need to go back over previous learning if they are behind on their History work.

Please keep up with your child’s tasks that I have generated on Show My Homework. This will provide clear details on what needs to be completed and when it needs to be completed by. There may also be documents to download to supplement the learning there.

If you have any questions, please message me directly on Show My Homework and I will be happy to help.
